Multimedia – watercolor, acrylic, and ink on handmade paper

Every page in Blob Book started with random swishes of paint. Instead of planning out drawings ahead of time, I let the shapes form naturally and then searched for hidden creatures, faces, and odd little characters inside the blobs once they dried. Using pen, I brought those accidental forms to life.

This was an incredible excersize for my brain, and fueled many more art pieces to come soon after.
